Located on the borders of Pradamano in the immediate vicinity of Udine, the location of Villa Ottelio is ideal for any kind of activity you are seeking. There is both the proximity to the town with its bustling life and nature and the possibility to do sports or enjoy the tranquillity of walking or cycling.
There is, however, one thing that all kinds of guests will share, the guarantee of a good night’s sleep at the B&B Villa Ottelio.
Built towards the end of 1500, the villa was owned by the influential family of Ottelio. The last Earl died in 1908 and at the end of 1949 it was divided and purchased by the families who currently own it.
The noble family Ottelio owned large estates here and in neighboring countries. They also had beautiful buildings in Udine. They originally were from Veneto (Padua). In 1908 the last count died, and having no direct descendants, the property was divided into several parts in 1949.
The building of Villa Ottelio is located where the bed and breakfast is. The original style has been retained in the exterior and interior. The building was completely refurbished in 2002.
The bed and breakfast Villa Ottelio also is environmentally friendly because it uses solar panels for heating and electricity.
